Ahead of tonight’s Wild Card game between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees at Fenway Park, let’s take a look at some Boston Red Sox Cribs.
With newborn son Diego on his arm, Red Sox catcher Christian Vásquez and his wife Gabriela recently gave a tour of their Florida home in a segment the team filmed called “Red Sox Cribs.”
“The lifestyle we have is a busy one, and getting to our house and feeling relaxed is fair and necessary. White is one of those colors that inspire peace and tranquility.” He also went on to describe that white and grey were chosen so that other colorful furnishings could be easily swapped out. The home features a vibrant kitchen with stone countertops, an enclosed patio in the back of the home, and a pool.
Up next Sox pitcher Matt Barnes gives a tour of his Connecticut home with his wife Chelsea Barnes. The home features a massive master bedroom complete with two giant closets to house Matt and Chelsea’s clothes and shoes. Matt is a big fan of art and is an avid sneaker collector.
The living room is an open-concept design with high ceilings and a stone fireplace. Matt’s favorite thing in the house is the large painting he had commissioned by an artist on the night of his wedding. The house is also filled with sports memorabilia including the ball he threw for the final out to win the 2018 World Series.
For the final segment we take a look at Red Sox outfielder J.D. Martinez’ Florida home where “everybody that comes in my house has to hit the gong!” Not a bad way to enter the Silver Slugger winner’s home, especially since he’s hit 4 home runs in a single game. 4 Home runs in a single game!
The home features a wine cellar, art collection, pool, hot tub, barbecue, and “The J.D.” room which features his collection of signed jerseys, bats, shoes, and images from his career. Martinez’ home is designed for entertaining and features an open-concept kitchen and living room.
