Folio Boston | 80 Broad Street
Folio Boston, completed in 2006, is a 14-story luxury high-rise, full service building. There are 96 unique units ranging from studios to 3 bedrooms. The building designed by CBT Architects. CBT Architects, based in Boston, has won numerous prestigious awards for their work, including the “Preservation Achievement Award” in 2010 for the Folio.
The building harmoniously balances both the traditional architecture of the adjacent 200 year old Bulfinch building designed by the famed-architect Charles Bulfinch, and the Financial District’s sleek style. The exterior, for example, is designed with brick and granite on the street level, and metal panel and current wall on upper floors. The interior is completed with bamboo floors, Poggenpohl cabinets, and top-of-the-line SubZero and Miele appliances. High ceilings and enormous floor-to-ceiling windows open up the space and bring in natural light.
With the expansive windows, those living on the tops floors of the building will have spectacular views of the Boston waterfront or the city skyline. Folio Boston’s great location on the Rose Kennedy Greenway is within walking distance to the Boston Harbor, Faneuil Hall, Financial District, and Beacon Hill. Close proximity to public transportation and the highway makes it easy for residents to explore different areas within and outside of the city. Garage parking provides easy access to your car.
